The price for talking on the mobile phone whilst driving is 300 euros. Is it worth it?

Not wearing a seat belt can also hit the wallet rather badly with a fine of 300 euros.

Fines for not using crash helmets on mopeds or motor cycles can also be rather severe.

Spain is one of the countries  in Europe, only exceeded by Portugal,  that has the highest traffic death toll.
Road outlay, the latin temperament and the hot weather,  which can reduce reaction times,
are a dangerous cocktail.

The new law is also introducing a system similar  to the Engllish points scheme which are added to the drivers license.

It is worth remembering that The Canary Islands are affected by the same new restrictions.
