East of Malaga
A lot of people probably know the Company through their activities east of Malaga. Previously the Company was concentrating on villas in Torre del Mar where it is still possible to acquire a villa with swimming pool for under 250.000 euros, although it would be situated outside the main town.  The advantage, though, is that it is quieter and more rural with closer contact with the Spanish culture.

Buy to let?
One question we are often asked is: 'What about letting? Is it worth it? '
It is still possible to let your property in Spain and make the income cover some of the expenses. Owners are locking their belongings in cupboards,  or using spare rooms for storing ther private possessions.  In this area there are several companies that are dealing with lettings. CASA:UNA is recommending that people market the property themselves and that they leave the key exchange and the cleaning to separate companies. That is a more cost effective way of letting the property. CASA:UNA is,  of course,  very willing to help the owners with their advertising

Selling your house
As the seller of a property,  it is more interesting to know when the property will be sold. How long time will it take to sell a flea? It depends on the size,  the area,  and the view. We are experiencing a quick turn-around of flats and terraced houses with 1-3 bedrooms, a good sized balcony and sea view. People are still coming to the Costa del Sol to find their "Place in the sun". and most of the vendors are looking for a property for their own holiday and maybe, also,  with the possibility of letting it for a limited period.
