The weather in Spain is great
With more than 300 days with sun per year, most people would say "great, let's go".
Yes, but what happens in the days without sun? Well it can feel cold, as most people have left the warm clothes at home. Even the Spanish don't quite get it, and you will see them walking in too few clothes.

Even on a cold winters day, the temperature can easily reach 15 degrees Celsius, and the sun feels quite warm.
Properties in Spain
Most older properties in Spain are without central heating, and people have to rely on oil-radiators, A/C systems with heating. Newer properties are properly insulated, and moving into the higher end of the market, it is common to see underfloor heating.
