The southern Costa del Sol alone has a shifting British population - not counting tourists - of up to 300,000 people.
The influx has been so great that Spanish-based Britons, from the Madrid-based banker or Barcelona designer to the Costa del Sol pensioner, are outnumbered as an immigrant population only by Moroccans, Romanians and Ecuadorians
