Buenavista is located in beautiful settings in the hill between Benalmadena and Mijas Pueblo. It is so to say caved into the wall of the mountain which creates some spectacular views of the Mediteranean sea and the mountains.

The urbanisation was founded around 1985 and consists mainly of villas with gardens and a few townhouses. It is a tranquil and quiet area with fast and easy access to the lively towns of Benalmadena and Fuengirola and to the tipical Andalusian village of Mijas Pueblo. A new road is currently being built making the access even better. A shuttle bus stops right outside the urbanisation.

The nearest golf courses are Torrequebrada Golf, Mijas Golf, Alhaurin Golf and La Cala Golf and are some 10-15 minutes drive from Buenavista. Buenavista is some 18 km. from the airport, and 10 minutes drive to the towns of Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Mijas and some 20 minutes to Marbella.
