La Sierrezuela is a very exclusive and prestigious high end urbanisation. It is located only 5 minutes drive from Fuengirola and Mijas town centre. It is a quiet and green urbanisation with mainly larger villas with mature gardens.

Sierrezuela was founded around 1980 and is at the foot of the mountain where the main road leads up along the hill. Most of the villas have spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains, the bay and the towns Fuengirola and Mijas. Some are also overlooking Mijas Golf.

There is only one point of entrance to the urbanisation "La Sierrezuela"  and therefore very little traffic from cars others than the people living in the urbanisation. It is a quiet area yet close to the access motorway and town centres. The cosy restaurant “El Potro” is located just at the entrance to the urbanisation.
