Fuengirola has experienced a significant increase in population from many different countries and has become a place where people from different cultures live together.

In an effort to raise awareness of the gastronomy and culture af the various groups a project was launched in 1994 which through the years has become one of the most important events in Fuengirola, namely Feria International de los pueblos.

There are delicious dishes from the represented countries, exotic drinks, music from the various countries and exhibition and sale of local products. More than 33 countries and societies are represented and access is free.
