Malaga town is not only the capital of the region, it is also the cultural capital of Costa del Sol. It is in Malaga that you will find most museums, architecture and of course the castle over looking the harbour and the town
Malaga has been transformed from an old town to a modern town with pedestrian areas with luxury brand shops on the high street. In the narrow streets you will still find all the old charm of Malaga with small tapas bars and restaurants.
Malaga train
Malaga is connected to Madrid with high speed train, and from Malaga centre there is a local train to the airport and further along the Costa del Sol to Fuengirola with stops in Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Torremuelle, Torreblanca and Los Boliches.
Malaga Airport
In 2010 the terminal 3 was opened providing a highly awaited extension to the old "Picasso Terminal". The construction was delayed and during the work it was never easy to know where to go.
